Mrs. Gail Funderburk Beasley, 81, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Greenville, NC on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Thomas Beasley Cemetery in Austinville, VA.

Mrs. Beasley was the daughter of the late Guy B. Funderburk and Vesta Young Funderburk. She was a successful real estate broker in Tazewell County, VA and later moved to Waynesboro, VA where she founded Beasley's Bounty Antiques, specializing in American Antiques Art Pottery.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd M. Beasley, Sr. and brothers-in-law, Robert J. Stefanich, Joe Kyle, Kenneth Pippin, and Odell and Alva Beasley.

She is survived by a son, Boyd M. Beasley, Jr. and wife Charlene; daughters, Lauren Cooper and Darcy Adee and husband Kevin; seven grandchildren, Ariel, Hayley, Jacob, Drake, Blaire, Boyd III, and Quinlan; brother, David Funderburk and wife Betty Jo; sisters, Judy Fountain, Betty Dare Stefanich, Mary Sloan Funderburk; and sisters-in-law, Thelma Pippin, Joleen Kyle and Carol Martin and husband Robert.
