G. Leroy McGrady, 51 of Hillsville passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. McGrady was preceded in death by a brother Elihu R. McGrady and a sister Rava Nester. Mr. McGrady is survived by his wife Shernell Jones McGrady of the home; daughter Revonda Ratledge of Hillsville; son and fiance Glade McGrady Jr. & Wendy Sisk; brothers & sisters Ruby Carrington of Hillsville, Elder Melvin & Vera Mae McGrady of Hillsville, Odessa & Friel Padgett of Woodlawn, and Owen & Dawn McGrady of Hillsville; grandson Wesley Ratledge; sister-in-law Vera McGrady of Asheboro, NC; and brother-in-law Granville Nester of Martinsville. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 20, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. The Elder Michael McGrady & the Rev. Steve Stephenson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday night at the funeral home.
