Friel Padgett 92 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. He was preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Lea McGrady Padgett; parents, Reuben Edward and Mary Phibbs Padgett and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-laws, Earl and Jennifer Padgett, and David and Emily Padgett; brother, Melvin Padgett; three grandchildren, Hannah Cooper, Faith Padgett, and Hayden Padgett.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Mike McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Padgett family.
