Frieda Franklin Worrell, 74 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.  Mrs. Worrell was born in Radford, Virginia to the late Grover Barton and Velma Lillian Martin Franklin.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Worrell; children, Robin Sutphin, Cindi Hendrick (Jeremy), and Amanda Worrell (Joe Delp); grandchildren, Daniel Smith, Eli Hendrick, Aleigha Hendrick and Peyton Hendrick; brother, Kenneth Franklin; niece, Crystal Barton (Tim); and great-nephew, Derek Chappell, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastors Sanford Hendrick and Jeremy Hendrick officiating.  Burial will follow in the C.C. Webb Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
