Frieda Bowman Hill, 84, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 02, 2014 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Hill was born in Carroll County to the late Cecil and Agnes Webb Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Grant Marshall Hill. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Pat Harner of Hillsville; brother, Freeman Bowman of Cana; sisters, Essie Patton of Fancy Gap, and Adele Beamer of Hillsville; grandchildren and spouses, Patrick and Miranda Harner and Brandon and Megan Harner; and great grandchildren, Lorelei Harner, Kyren Harner, and Rhys Harner. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Webb and Pastor David Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
