Freida Adams Edwards, 74 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at her daughter's home.  Mrs. Edwards was born in Hillsville, Virginia to the late Vaughan C. and Irene Snow Adams.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Edwards; son, Jeffery Tobler; brother, Ronald Adams; and sister, Linda Turner.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Nathan Galyean; sister, Darlene Reeves (Rusty); four grandchildren, Nicholas Tobler, Makayla Allen, Breanna Galyean, and Tanner Galyean; and six great-grandchildren, Teagan Tobler, Tekoah Tobler, Tekyiah Tobler, Tallin Tobler, Chole Griffith, and Oaklynn Tobler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Horton and Gary Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
