Freddie Wyatt Horton, 71, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at his daughter's home. Mr. Horton was preceded in death by his parents Claude Swanson Horton and Ossie Edwards Horton and a brother Clyde Corbitt Horton. Survivors include his wife Marie S. Horton of Hillsville, his children; Linda Davis and husband Scottie of Barren Springs, Rex Horton and his wife Debbie of Hillsville and Jeanie Wright of Hillsville. Mr. Horton is also survived by his sister, Mary A. Horton, granddaughter; Jayme Marie Wright, step-grandchildren; Travis Chappell and Shane Chappell, and several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Skyview Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. The burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Skyview Missionary Baptist Church on Monday November 19, 2012 from 6 - 8 P.M. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
