Franklin D. Daniels, age 69 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at his home. Mr. Daniels was born in Glen Alum, WV on March 21, 1943 to the late Charlie and Eunice Daniels. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Daniels served in the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. Survivors include one son; four brothers; one sister; a special nephew; and several other family members and friends. Graveside services and burial will be held at the Hash Family Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Virginia. Military rites will be conducted by the Marion V.F.W. Post 4667. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
