Frances Quesenberry Thompson, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Thompson was born in Wythe County to the late Samuel Ernest and Annie Chrisley Quesenberry. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Terry Diane & Jerry Caviness of Hillsville; son David Glenn Thompson of Hillsville; brother Robert Dale Quesenberry of Washington State; sisters & brother-in-law Joyce King of Max Meadows, Lois Alley of Austinville, and Helen & Jim Hancock of Portland, OR; special friend Gertie Crawford; three grandchildren Anthony, Kristin, and Jason; and two great grandchildren Brooklyn and David.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.
