Frances N. Stoots, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. She was born in North Carolina to the late Blaine & Essie Worrell Nester. In addition to her parents Mrs. Stoots was also preceded in death by her husband Frank Stoots and grandson Kevin Southern. She is survived by her daughter Debra Lynn Stoots of Hillsville; grandson Brian Southern of Stokesdale, NC; and nieces & spouse Pat & Rick Combs and Kathy Hicks.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Fairview Presbyterian Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ron Kronk officiating. Burial will follow in the C.C. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
