Frances Louise Gallimore Farmer, 79 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Farmer was born in Floyd County, Virginia to the late Hobert and Frances (Ola) Hollandsworth Gallimore. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lucas Farmer; siblings, Blanche Marion, Elizabeth Orange, Earvin Gallimore and Archie Gallimore; and daughter-in-law, Kim Farmer.

Louise and Lucas were married for over 60 years. She was a loving wife, loving mother and loving grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Robin McGee (Channie), Charles Dean Farmer (Cathy), Kim Lee Farmer (Donna), Kevin Farmer (Karen), and Rhonda Boyd (Jason); brother, Artie Gallimore (Virginia); fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and another on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Brother Lee Farmer, Brother Jack Anderson, and Pastor Garry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
