Frances Smythers Blankenship, 91, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Mrs. Blankenship was born in Foster Falls, VA. to the late, Strader Harvey and Louisa Edith Jackson Smythers. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William McKinley Blankenship, two brothers, Kyle Glendon Smythers and Myrle Smythers.   Mrs. Blankenship is survived by her children and their spouses, Samuel Max Blankenship and wife, Brenda of Colorado, Billie Kaye Robinette and husband, Kim of Hillsville and Strader Eric Blankenship and wife, Ruby of Poplar Camp. She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Corwyn Sylvester, Hannah Rempe, Christopher Robinette, Andrew Robinette and Madison Lee Blankenship. Great-Grandchildren, Beverley Sylvester, Glenn Allen Rempe, Sabrina Robinette and Colin Robinette and a sister, Martha Smythers Crowder.   Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Vaughan-Guynn McGrady Chapel with Pastor Jason Simpkins Officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services.
