Foy Wise Cruise, 93 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mr. Cruise was born in Carroll County to the late Wiley Everett and Minnie E. Martin Cruise. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son Clyde Cruise. He is survived by his wife Ethel Davis Cruise of Hillsville; son and daughter-in-law Elwood and Carol Cruise of Hillsville; daughters and sons-in-law Marie and James Perry of Galax, Bonnie and Virgil Quesenberry of Woodlawn, Kathy M. Cruise of Galax, and Patsy and Richard Martin of Hillsville; brother Paul Cruise of Mount Airy, NC; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain James Linville and Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
