Foster Allen Beasley, 90 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013. Mr. Beasley was born in Carroll County to the late Allen and Laura Belle Horsley Beasley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Vincent Beasley and grandson, Nathan Beasley. Survivors include his wife, Velma Crowder Beasley of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Joel Warren and Pamela Beasley of Springfield, TN and Daniel Foster and Karen Beasley of Fincastle, VA; sister, Maxine Robinson of Woodlawn; grandchildren and spouses, Ashley Beasley, Michael Beasley, Laura Beasley, Adrienne Beasley, Cresha Beasley, Joeseph Beasley, Daniel and Rachel Beasley, and Jennifer and John Burch; and great grandchildren, Abigail Beasley, Evan Beasley, John Charles Burch, III, Brock Burch, Sophia Burch, and Warren Curtis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Victory Way Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Wells and Pastor Danny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in the Beasley Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at Victory Way Baptist Church on Thursday, from 12:30 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
