Fielden Albert Hawks, 85 of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Martinsville Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hawks is survived by his wife Ethel H. Hawks of the home; and sisters Alma Crockett of Dublin, VA, Ruby Webb of Chesapeake, VA, Ruth Stockner of Dublin, VA and Lorraine Parish of Rural Hall, NC.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:30 PM with the Elder Thomas Radford and Elder Leonard Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday night at the funeral home. They will also be receiving friends at the home of John W. & Odessa Peters at 229 McGavock Lane in Max Meadows, VA.
