Fern South Ward, 70 of Galax, passed away Friday, December 16, 2005 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Ward is survived by her brothers & sister-in-law James & Virginia Combs of High Point, NC and Edgar Neil Combs of Lexington, NC; and sister Ruby Combs of High Point, NC. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. The Rev. Dewey Felts will officiate. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday night at the funeral home.
