Fern Linnie Devine, 100 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Commonwealth Senior Living.  Mrs. Devine was born in Iowa to the late George R. and Ethel B. Clark Geeseka.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alda B. Devine; siblings, Faye Crowley and Glen Geeseka; and great-grandchildren, Aurora Harris and Donald Blair Yon.

Survivors include her children, Karen Dunford (Anthony) and Patrick Devine (Christine); grandchildren, April Yon (Christopher) and Kelly Jos (Dinesh); and great-grandchildren, Alexander Harris, Olivia Harris, Nathan Harris, Mark Jos, and Alyssa Jos.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rebecca Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
