Fay Marie Williams Primm, 69 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, September 02, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Prim was born in Carroll County to the late Malcolm Sidney & Dellion Williams Fender. In addition to the parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Boyd Williams and Ray Williams; and special friends Posey Primm and Clayton Beverly. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law Brenda & James Gardner of Fancy Gap; sister & brother-in-law Gay & Al Draughan; two granddaughters Ashley Gardner and Emily Gardner; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Galax First Assembly of God on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Cas Horton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
