Everette Reed Alderman, 59, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at his home. Mr. Alderman was born in Carroll County to the late Charles Everette and Hallie McRoberts Alderman. Survivors include his children and spouses, Everette Reed and Stacey Alderman of Independence and Jessica Ann and Daniel Campbell of Woodlawn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Alderman of Fries, Roscoe and Lorraine Alderman of Dugspur, Kenneth and Goldie Alderman of Hillsville, and Glenn and Bobbi Alderman of Ivanhoe; sister, Lillie Moore of Fries; grandchildren, Austin Belton, Ethan Belton, Macey Alderman, Hailey Alderman, and Jackson Alderman; special niece, Sharon Zeitz; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Steven Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
