Everett Paul Alexander

Everett Paul Alexander, 87 of Max Meadows, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. Mr. Alexander was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late William and Nellie Frazier Alexander. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Olen Alexander (Melda) and Rufus Alexander (Lou).

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Payne Alexander; daughter, Wendy Alexander (Carrie); sons, Eddie Alexander (Teresa), David Alexander (Susan), and Phillip Alexander; three grandchildren, Katrina Alexander-Henley (Travis), Derek Alexander (Francisco), and Jessica Sumner (Michael); nine great-grandchildren, Taj, Teague, Talon, Toren, Tru, Taya, Kaleb, Kylee, and Cade; two great-great grandchildren, Kashton and Kinslee; brother, Lloyd Alexander (Peggy); and sister-in-law, Lillian Alexander. The family would like to express a special “thank you” to caregivers, Glen Dalton Jr., Cathy Lawson, Missi Coble and Glenna Cornett.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 7:00 PM with Brother Gilbert Myers and Pastor David Wall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Charity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Castleton Road in Max Meadows. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
