Evelyn Wease, 94 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Wease was preceded in death by her husband Russell Gordon Wease and a daughter Patricia Schoensee. She is survived by her daughter Judy Surbaugh of Fancy Gap; five grandchildren Joe Hodge, Vicki Watts, Kathy Weese, Russ Peeler and Marsha Bittinger; six great grandchildren Amanda Weese, Josh Bittinger, Brandy Bittinger, Chris Bittinger, Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler, and Alex Vandermaas-Peeler; and two great-great grandchildren Kadance Bittinger and Griffin Bittinger.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
