Evelyn Mae Dickens, 70, of Fancy Gap passed away on November 3, 2007 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Thomas Dickens and son Joseph David Dickens. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Darrell & Sandy Dickens of Fancy Gap; a sister Pearl Hutchins of Phoenix, AZ; a brother and sister-in-law Ronnie & Janet Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; three step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Pastors Bobby Webb and Doug Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
