Eva Stanley OQuinn, 93, formerly of Hillsville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2009. Mrs. OQuinn was born in Hillsville, Virginia to the late George Wesley & Martha Joanna Beasley Alderman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Maston Scott Stanley and Orville OQuinn; brothers Chester Alderman, William Alderman and Drura Alderman; and sisters Edith Sowers, Lelia Webb, Myrtle Kenny, Velma Utt, and Ethel Sutphin. She is survived by two daughters & sons-in-law Martha Leigh & Clayton Banks of Memphis, TN and Phyllis J. & Allan Fish of Franklin, TN; son & daughter-in-law Larry (Scott) & Becky S. Stanley of Pilot, VA; grandchildren Angella Bell, Wesley Banks, Christi Banks, Holli Anglin, Timothy Fish, Sara Campbell, Jeffery Stanley, Rachel Hudson and Chris Spencer; and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:30 PM with Rev. Hebron Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:30 until 3:30 prior to the funeral service.
