Eunice B. Horton, 74 of Fancy Gap, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Horton was born in Carroll County to the late Henry & Clyde Gardner Barr. She is survived by her husband Olin Horton, of the home; sisters & brothers-in-law, Elizabeth Barr & Walter Hawkins, Spencer, NC, Genola Barr & Jack Stuart, Mechanicsville, Joyce Barr & Mike Fisher, Fancy Gap, brothers & sisters-in-law, William & Thelma Barr, Hillsville, James Lester & Pat Barr, Louisa, Clifton & Mary Jane Barr, Fancy Gap, Roger & Marjorie Barr, Fancy Gap; Sisters-in-law, Opal Horton, Rebecca Horton, several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Duane Steele officiating. Burial will follow in the Quesinberry & Bobbitt Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
