Euna Fae Newman, 85 of Mount Airy, NC and formerly of Austinville, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy. Mrs. Newman was born in Carroll County to the late Walter Thornton and Bertha Mae Shupe Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, J. L. "Bud" Newman and son, Delton Leon Newman.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Fae Riggs of Mount Airy; son, Walter Kent Newman of Austinville; sister, Linda Lou Edmonds of Woodlawn; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Newman Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral cost. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
