Eugene Lawson, 91 of Austinville, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his home.  Mr. Lawson was born in Carroll County to the late Andrew Franklin and Zelda Mae Nester Lawson.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Aleene Lawson; children, Randall Lawson, Doug Lawson, Kathy Strickland, Phyllis Quesenberry, and Sandra Bolen; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Belford Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Pleasant View Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the cemetery prior to the graveside service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
