Etta Faye Bond, 75 of Woodlawn, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Bond was born in Carroll County, Viriginia, to the late Chester Thomas and Helen Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Denis Bond, Jr.; brother, Rex Edwards; and sisters, Icy Bell and Lou Bryant.
Survivors include her sons, Scott Bond (Jonda) and Bradley Bond (Shelby); five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; stepsons, Daniel Harris and Phillip Harris; and siblings, Wayne Edwards and Ester Edwards.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Surratt Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
