Ethelene M. Iroler, 91 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Iroler was born in Carroll County to the late Edmond & Edna Guynn Marshall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Iroler and a son V.E. Iroler. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Jeanette & Don Poole of Miami and Gaye & Frank Isemann of Williamsburg; daughter-in-law Jo Ann Iroler of Fancy Gap; brother J.B. Marshall of Pulaski; sister Faye Mills of Fancy Gap; four grandchildren & spouses Vicky & Barry Beckner, Scott & Christy Poole, Stephanie & Chay McIntosh and Kimberly & Jerry OBrien; six great grandchildren Payton OBrien, Kylee OBrien, Will OBrien, Caroline Poole, Jake Poole and Sidney McIntosh.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Gladesboro Lutheran Church at 10:30 AM with Pastor Duane Steele officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
