Ethel Mae Pratt, 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Pratt was born in Carroll County on February 20, 1949.  She was preceded in death by her father, Coy Paul Martin and mother, Fannie Octava Goad Martin.

Survivors include her husband, Warren Luther Pratt of the home; children, Eric Scott Marshall, Kim Crowder (Robert) and Cynthia Bolen (Tim); brothers, Paul Martin (Martha), Virgil Martin; grandchildren, Dustin Wayne Marshall, Kimberly Horton (Neil), Michaela Bowman (Jason), Matthew Bolen; great grandchildren, Alexis Horton, Adalyn Horton, Easton Horton; sisters in law, Linda Pratt, Jean Whitlock (John), Iva Dell Hollandsworth; brothers in law, Lowell Pratt (Norma Jean), Donnie Pratt ( Brenda); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Angie Lineberry and Pastor Eddie Dalton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Beasley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
