Ethel Marie Branscome, 96 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows Nursing and Rehab in Laurel Fork, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ethel Marshall Chitwood; siblings, Frieda Surratt and Howard C. Chitwood.

Survivors include her children Gina Branscome Crowder and fiancé Buck Gallimore, and Dennis Branscome (Sara); grandchildren, Daniel Branscome, and Nathan Branscome (Katie); great grandchildren, Luca Branscome, Maddie Branscome, and Shepard Branscome.

She served many years in The Eastern Star and was a Loving Mother and Grandmother.
