Erma Leona Sharp, 78, of Woodlawn, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Sharp was born in Austinville to the late Walter and Hattie Farmer Stuart. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clise Sharp and sister, Doris Bedwell. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Debbie Sharp and Terry and Penny Sharp, all of Woodlawn; granddaughter and spouse, Brandi and Chuck Kinzer of Woodlawn; sister, Betty Joe Lowe of Austinville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Emma Lou Burnette of Galax and Dora Rife of Woodlawn. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Alley and Pastor Cas Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharp Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
