Erma Lou Radford

Erma Lou Radford, 85 of Bassett, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. Erma was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Elmer Joseph and Mary Myrtle Hawks Hall. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Radford; brothers, Paul Hall, Wayne Hall, and Harold Hall; sisters, Annie Hall Burcham and Marie Hall Hawks.

Mrs. Radford was the valedictorian of her high school class. She worked in banking and retired at the age of 75. Erma loved to read and do crossword puzzles and word search puzzles.

Survivors include her brother, Ernest Hall; foster daughter, Rachael Nicole Lilly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.
