Emory F. Bearden, 70 of Hillsville, Virginia, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. Mr. Bearden was born in Florida to the late Ralph H. Bearden and Emily Gile. He was a retired teacher from the Carroll County School system where he taught the Industrial Arts class for many, many years at Carroll County Middle School.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Bearden, to the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church P.O. Box 534 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
