Emma Elizabeth Largen, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Largen was born in Carroll County to the late Howard & Mae Alderman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Largen and a son James Glen Largen. She is survived by her daughter Anna Mae Stone of Radford; a son & daughter-in-law Ricky Amos and Gina Largen of Woodlawn; grandchildren James Matthew Largen, Clinton Stone, Ronald Lee Stone, Donna Smith and Travis Largen; great grandchildren James Lee Stone, Amanda Stone, Ronnie Lee Stone and Douglas Guy Smith; great-great grandchildren Nickolous Largen, Logan Largen, Austin Stone, Kaitleen Stone and Garrett Stone; and a special sister-in-law Hassie Taylor.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Randy Key officiating. Burial will follow in the Worrell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 19, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
