Elton Lewis Martin, Sr., 84, of Woodlawn passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mr. Martin was preceded by his wife, Anna Ruth Bowman Martin. Survivors include his children and spouses, Remona Sue and Terry Fowler of Woodlawn, Debra K. and Vince Goad of Hillsville, and Elton Lewis Martin, Jr. , of Hillsville; sister and brother in-law, Reva and Vincent Goad of Willis, VA; brothers and sister-in-laws, Carl and Arlene Martin of Hillsville, and Erwin and Betty Martin of Galax; two grandchildren and spouse, Kristy and Seth Jones of Galax, and Casey Martin of Hillsville; four great grandchildren, Natalie, Chase, Trenton, and Maci. Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Martin family.
