Elsie Faye Singer, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away on June 22, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00pm, Friday, July 14, 2023 at Palm Northwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, NV with Pastor Adam Mallette of Kings Church officiating.

Burial will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Nester Cemetery in Laurel Fork, VA with Pastor Ryan Mills of First Baptist Church of Hillsville, VA.

Elsie Faye Singer was born in Hillsville, VA to Richard Andrew Largen and Lillian Pearl McDaniel on May 6, 1939. She married Lawrence Singer on July 22, 1972 in Miami, FL. She graduated in 1984 from Miami-Dade Community College with a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse for over 20 years and was passionate about her work. She loved to play BINGO, thrift shop, make photo albums, travel and attend her local church. She poured her heart and soul into her greatest love – her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elsie Faye Singer is preceded in death by her daughter Irena Marie Yocum, son John David Yocum, parents Richard and Lillian Largen, husband, Lawrence Singer and brothers Richard Arlen Largen and Larry David Largen, Sr.

Elsie Faye Singer is survived by her sons, George Yocum, Homer Andrew Yocum, and William Alan Yocum (Penny); sister Irene Wells; daughter-in-law Theresa Yocum; grandchildren Jessica Loggins (Donnie), Josephine Covel (Cameron), David Yocum (Alyssa), Jenna Yocum, Kasara Yocum (Edward), Joshua Yocum, Sean Yocum, Tralina Fuller (Jerry), Sabrina Muse, Jonathan Muse (Amy); Great grandchildren Addison Loggins, Ava Loggins, Lincoln Loggins, Cayden Covel, Brielle Covel, Lillian Largen, Jason Keho, Jordan Keho, Jasmyn Fuller, Jadyn Fuller, Adrianna Muse, and Dante Muse; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved dearly.
