Elray Felts, 73 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at his home. Mr. Felts was born to the late Rush Heymon and Hallie Nelson Felts. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers Carl Felts and Haywood Felts and sister Frances Felts. He was retired from Allied Chemical, Chesterfield Plant. Mr. Felts is survived by his children Kathy F. Wyatt and husband Cody, Anthony E. Felts and wife Brenda, and Kimberly F. McCauley and husband Darryl all of Richmond, four grandchildren Trey Nichols of San Diego, CA, Jessica Pickett, Darek McCauley, and Brittany McCauley all of Richmond; brother Edward Felts and wife Linda of Winston Salem, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
