Elna Mae Goad, 94 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Mrs. Goad was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Harvey Earl and Lila Vass Burcham.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Goad; daughter, Janet Porter; and several siblings.

Survivors include her son, Arthur Goad (Ann); grandchildren, Chad Porter (Emma), Sheila Hall (Steve), Crystal Bailey (Richard), and Doug Goad (Kandy); and great-grandchildren, Sara McGrady (Marcus), Kassidy Goad, Christian Goad, Evin Porter, and Kade Porter.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Hillsville Health and Rehab for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Roland McCraw officiating.  Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
