Ellis Daniel Deskins, Jr., "Danny", 77 of Dugspur, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026.  Mr. Deskins was born on April 15, 1948 in McDowell County, WV to the late Ellis Daniel and Frieda Violet Coltrane Deskins.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Deskins; daughters, Holly Lane and Lorie Snider; brother, Michael Deskins (Charlotte); grandchildren, Palin Snider, Paisley Snider, and Pari Snider; uncle, Bill Deskins; many special friends; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 Pm with Pastor Chris Burnette officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
