Elizabeth Muriel North, 59 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Elizabeth was born in New Jersey to the late Roderick & Gertrude Holmes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard North, Sr. and two sisters Donna Roosa and Evelyn McKern. Ms. North is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Lori & Eric Dauch of Hillsville and Tammy & Tom Maerling of Greenfield Park, NY; sons & daughter-in-law James North of Loch Sheldrake, NY, Robert & Cathy North of Woodbourne, NY and Stephen North of Hillsville; sisters & brothers-in-law Dottie & Donald Brown of Milo, Maine and Janet & Charles Haiss of Woodbourne, NY; brothers & sister-in-law Billy & Patricia Holmes of Jamestown, NY and Jimmy Holmes of White Lake, NY; and six grandchildren Tommy, Amiel and Christopher Maerling, Jonathan and Cara Dauch and Kyle North.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all the friends and family for their support, prayers, phone calls and visits during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home in Rosendale, New York. The family will receive friends at the George J. Moylan Funeral home from 12:00 until 3:00 PM on Saturday prior to the funeral service.
