Elder Norman Edward Bowman 77, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows Nursing and Rehab in Laurel Fork, VA. He was born March 23, 1941 to the late Norman and Irene Bowman of Woodlawn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother, and sisters, Aylease Hawks and Betty Beamer, and brother-in-law Roger Harmon.

He is survived by his wife, Cora Mae Harmon Bowman, of more than 55 years; brother and sister-in-law, Berlie and Patsy Bowman of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Maylease Mabe of Cana, VA; sister-in-law, Barbara Harmon of Austinville, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Eddie Bunn and Elder E.W. Hooven officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations In Memory of Elder Edward Bowman be made to the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Fund, in care of Russell Branscome, 36 Quail Ridge Court, Galax, VA 24333. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Bowman family.
