Eileen Alderman Edwards, 83, of Danville, Virginia passed away on Friday March 31, 2006 in Martinsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Jefferson Edwards, her father and mother, six brothers, three sisters, and a baby boy. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Rita & Jim Brooks of Cascade, VA, Rhonda Edwards of Danville, three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary E. & Diane Edwards of Danville, Randall & Judy Edwards of Wytheville, Ricky N. Edwards of Danville; three brothers, Carlos & Catherine Alderman of Texas, Joe & Opal Alderman of Hillsville, John Alderman of Wytheville; and one sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Sue & Vernon Murray, of Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Scotty Rice, Jeremy Edwards, Misty Saunders, Desarae Anderson, Dustin Edwards, Randy Edwards, and Ryland Edwards, and four great grandchildren.

Services will be at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel in Hillsville on Monday April 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Brian Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday April 2, 2006 at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel in Hillsville. Burial will be in the Alderman Family Cemetery in Hillsville. The family will be accepting friends at 204 Charlotte Ave, in Danville after the funeral services at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel.
