Edwin Gayle Osborne, 86 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mr. Osborne was born in Richlands to the late Columbus Guy Osborne and Zenna Bell Phipps Newberry. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, Edward Guy Osborne and Cecil Ray Newberry and a sister, Mary Ruth Newberry.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva B. Osborne of the home; daughters, Elaine Osborne of Hillsville and Deborah Joy of Elizabethton, TN; brother, Levon Andrew Newberry; step-daughter and spouse, Toni and Hugh Wilde of Maryland; step-son and spouse, Eddie and Therese Boggs of Illinois; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 Am at Victory Way Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Mr. Danny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
