Edward Lee Walls, 61, of Hillsville, VA passed away on February 14, 2009 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Ray Walls and Mary P. Needham; and sister Tammy J. Spradlin. Mr. Walls is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Walls of the home; daughters Vickie L. Walls and Terry J. Walls of Dugspur; sons Jimmy Gravely of Fancy Gap, Robert L. Walls of Dugspur, Jeffery R. Walls of Pulaski; brother and sister-in-law Billy R., Sr. & Shirley Walls of Hillsville; sisters and brothers-in-law Dona Jewel Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sherry Lynn & Mike Dudley of Scottsville, VA, Connie Ruth & Bud Willard of Jamestown, NC; Nancy Carol & Roger Conard of Strasburg, VA; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Akers officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:00 PM at the funeral home preceding the service.
