Edward Elmo Reynolds, 79 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Northern Regional Hospital. Mr. Reynolds was born in Carroll County to the late James Edgar and Gladys Bunn Reynolds. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sisters, Norma Puckett and Inez Snoddy; and brother, Mat Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Betty Jo Reynolds; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Jonathan Hawks; grandsons, Isaac John Hawks and Lucas Daniel Hawks; sisters-in-law, Peggy Walls (Tex) and Bev Reynolds; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gary Horton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
