Edward H. Marshall, 78 of Woodlawn, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at his residence. He was preceded in death by brothers Troy Marshall and Vivian Marshall and sister Freda Harrison. Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife Claudine D. Marshall of the home; sisters Helen Whited of Virginia Beach and Betty Lou Valley of Alpena, MI; brother Roger Lee Marshall of Clearmont, FL; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 25, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:30 AM with Rev. Vickie Neese and Rev. Harvey Carico officiating. Burial will follow at Gardner Memorial Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday night at the funeral home.
