Edsel T. Shupe, 76 of Hillsville, passed away Friday, May 5, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Shupe is survived by his wife Anita G. Shupe of the home; children & spouse Terry Lee Shupe of Radford and Jerry & Velma Shupe of Galax; grandchildren & spouse Amanda & Daniel Martin and Grayson Lineberry; great grandchild Jordon Martin; sister Juanita Vaughn of Austinville; special niece Donna Coleman; and special great nieces Jessica & Tracy Coleman.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 8, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Chip Neely, Rev. James Jordan and Rev. Nelson Gallimore officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Knob Cemetery. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville Lodge #193 A.F. & A.M. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday night at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dalton Hill Christian Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville is in charge of arrangements.
