Edna Frances Largen, 87, of Hillsville passed away on May 14, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther D. Largen, Jr., her father Joseph A. Banks, her mother Inez Gardner Banks, and two sons, William D. Largen and Robert J. Largen. She is survived by her daughter Betty L. Huff, of Mt. Airy, NC; a brother and sister-in-law Claude H. & Nina Banks of Hillsville; a sister and brother-in-law Mary G. & Carlos Combs of Woodlawn; grandchildren and spouses Jill H. & Billy Haynes of Watkinsville, GA; Andi H. & Tony Morris of Mt. Airy, NC; Madeline L. & Mike Meadows of Salem, VA and Barry D. Largen of Hillsville; and great grandchildren Cory R. Haynes, Casey A. Haynes, Brayden M. Meadows, Harrison R. Morris, Caroline J. Morris, and Lillian G. Morris.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Gladesboro Lutheran Church with the Rev. Duane Steele officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Funeral Home.
