Edmond Ralph "RJ" Bond, Jr. 75 of Austinville, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at his home. Born in Virginia to the late Edmond Ralph Bond, Sr. and Auga Lucille Gravley Bond. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Roy Nester; and sister-in-law, Denise Bond.

RJ leaves behind his wife, Debra Bond; his son; Ralph "Weston" Bond daughter-in-law Stacy Bond; and his daughter; Crystal Lineberry. As well as his grandchildren Cody Bond and wife Lindsay, Katie Lineberry, Ashley Bond and Max Lineberry. Great-grandchildren Colton Bond and Isaac Bond. Survived by remaining siblings: Patricia "Ann" Lampey and husband Roger, Michael Bond and wife Roxanne, and Ronnie Bond and wife Becky. As well as many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove II Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
