Earl Wayne Farmer, 79 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his parents Earl Robert and Eula Pierce Farmer and a brother Collin E. Farmer. He is survived by a sister-in-law Polly Farmer of Cana; nephews & spouses John Earl & JoAnne Farmer of Hillsville and Joseph Collin & Janet Farmer of Tracy, CA; great nieces Gabrielle Farmer and Christine Farmer; and great nephews J. H. Lee Farmer, Robert Farmer, Josh Farmer and Clayton Farmer.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Shiloh United Methodist Church at 7:30 PM with Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 6:00 PM until service time. Burial will be held at Shiloh Cemetery on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 2:00 PM.
